Red is the Colour of Romance

.

Hi all,
I cannot believe how quickly February has flown by. I have been both finishing some projects (more on that another day) and also creating for some challenges. Today I am sharing a page created for the 123 Challenge Blog with the criteria of red, the word lovely and hearts. The photo is of the gorgeous flowers and giant teddy (which I kept admiring at our local cafe) that my husband surprised me with for our wedding anniversary - "Lovely" surprises indeed.  Here it is:

I  mostly used Bo Bunny - Head Over Heels papers for my creation combined with some Echo Park - Love Story, heart chipboard by Dusty Attic, "Project Life" and "Kaisercraft - Captured Moments" cards, a Kaisercraft stencil  and some gorgeous flowers purchased off of E-bay (which were a last minute addition as the arrived in the post today :))

I have been painting up some furniture recently so will be sharing on that soon as well reporting back on my progress with finishing projects,  (which has been happening as I committed to in my last blog post - I just haven't had the chance to share my progress)

Until next time...

Finish It Friday

I have a confession to make... I am terrible at finishing my craft products. Recent participation in challenges has helped me to see some pages through to completion but for some reason the sense of achievement that I feel when completing something is often overshadowed by the exhilaration of starting something new.  My plethora of unfinished projects weighs me down as I feel disappointed in myself that I have invested my time and money and don't have a completed project to show.  This year I want to focus on following things through to completion.  I have set myself a challenge of sharing every Friday about what steps I have taken towards finishing a project.  My intention is to start "small" for a big impact, ie. those layouts that need some journalling or pages from a lesson that need a photo. I'm hoping that this way I'll see progress quickly and keep the momentum going.  I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a stash of half done projects so if you would like to play along with me please feel free - we can help keep each other accountable.

Until next time...
